My-PROMPT, an MRDR pilot trial, found that feeding back results of patient-reported outcome measures to clinicians at clinic visits was feasible and acceptable to patients and clinicians.
Most patients reported the intervention helped them convey their concerns to doctors, most doctors reported it reduced or had minimal impact on workload, and both patients and clinicians reported that it helped focus the consultation on patient priorities. The study was not powered for clinical outcomes, however there was a signal for improved quality of life in the intervention arm.
Some areas requiring modification were identified, and we look forward to the next steps for this trial.
