The Myeloma 1000 Project (M1000) Biobank, now has samples for more than 400 patients. Thanks to all participating patients and sites for your help in getting there!
The aim of the biobank is to collect samples from 1000 newly diagnosed adults with MM and from 1000 with MGUS to establish a repository of blood specimens available for future assessment of circulating biomarkers that better predict treatment response, and individuals at risk of developing myeloma and accelerated disease progression.
The project will use the MRDR to link biological information with prospectively collected clinical data.
